I have had the privilege of calling Associated Students my home and family for the past 2 years as the Sophomore Representative and now the Vice President of Internal Affairs. This is my 3rd year here at SFSU and I am double majoring in Psychology and Communications. Along with being apart of Associated Students I have also been a Resident Assistant for the past 2 years. I continuously am striving towards getting more students connected to this campus through transformative, inclusive, and diverse programming. Associated Students has given me and so many other students the opportunity to be apart of something that keeps us active and involved on this campus.
No matter what community you come from or what you believe, AS has a home for you. Being within this capacity of Vice President of Internal Affairs for a second year will allow me to continue this journey of making AS what I know it can be. Within my duties of this position, I will continue to advocate and be an activist for student needs. We must continue to set the legacy that SFSU is impactful and set the standard for future leaders as well. You all deserve leaders who are committed, transparent, challenged, and bring forth a diverse and inclusive perspective, and i will work to be that for you. As I have said for the past 2 years, my name is Jordan Thomas and this is my promise.
