12 Feb Galentine’s Day
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with your friends this year! For those of you who don’t know, Galentine’s Day was coined by the great Leslie Knope on the show Parks and Recreation. It’s traditionally celebrated the day before Valentines day, February 13th. Leave your significant other behind and get together with your friends this year to CELEBRATE each other!
Today is the day to cherish all of your memories, sing bad renditions of Spice Girls, and talk about how much you love each other. Here are 5 great ways to celebrate with your gal pals this year:
1. Have brunch with mimosas (for those who are 21 and over!)
Bring on the waffles covered in lots of butter and syrup!
2. Gift your bestie the sweetest Valentine’s Day card
Get creative and make your own V-Day cards this year.
3. Break out the karaoke machine and prepare for the worst renditions ever
Today is a day to celebrate you. Sing your heart out and attempt to be as sassy as Beyonce.
4. Don’t forget the power of a mixed CD
Pick out throwbacks you and your best friends can truly appreciate! Maybe break out your ‘N Sync CD?
5. Do a Galentine’s Day white elephant!
Have your friends bring a small gift under $10 and exchange them!
Don’t worry dudes, I didn’t forget about you! Bring over your pals and celebrate:
