13 May Studying for Finals: Expectations Vs. Reality

Let’s be honest…we all expect studying for finals to be much more successful than it actually turns out to be. We also probably didn’t expect to procrastinate this late into the semester – whoops. Just know that you’re not alone and you’re in the same boat (if not, drowning) as the rest of the students at SF State.

Starting early:

Expectation:

Start studying two weeks in advance.

Reality:

Maybe you should’ve started…yesterday.

Actually reading:

Expectation:

Reading the required textbook throughout the semester.

Reality:

Cramming all 25 chapters into 1 week.
