ERC Sustainability Assembly

The ERC firmly believes that policy is extraordinarily important to protecting our environment, our communities, and minimizing the ecological footprint of our university. Policy can guarantee that our campus operates in a way that prioritizes public health or wellbeing instead of profits for business and corporations.

The Environmental Resource Center has worked closely with our Student Government (the Associated Students Board of Directors) to create a platform to discuss and push policies we as students would like to see enacted here on campus.

We call it the Sustainability Assembly.

The Sustainability Assembly is open to any and all SFSU students! It is the ERC‘s way of connecting the student body directly to their student government representatives.

The Sustainability Assembly has already passed key AS resolutions including the AS Resolution Supporting the Creation of a Permanent Food Distribution Center and the AS Resolution Supporting the Fossil Fuel Divestment Efforts of the Brown’s Last Chance Movement.

If you want to join the Sustainability Assemble, please contact us at or drop by our office T-121 on the top floor of the Cesar Chavez Student Center!

We’ll see you there!
