Board of Directors

We’re here to represent you!

SFSU students have the opportunity to vote or be elected into the Associated Students Board of Directors each academic year.

In doing so, candidates experience many influential events such as the campaign process to having the chance to use their ideas to provide for the students here at SF State. Associated Students Elections are held each year during the Spring Semester. During this time, officers are elected to serve as the student government. These positions include President and Vice President, representatives of each college, and representatives of every class. The elections take place online, making it easy for students to vote from any computer location.

The AS Board of Directors serve a one year term and has set the following goals and priorities for the 2024-2025 academic year.

    1. We shall strengthen and solidify relationships with students affiliated organizations and programs within the student body and university departments in order to amplify and advocate on their behalf.
    2. We shall prioritize visibility and accessibility of AS programs and services through marketing and intentional outreach to increase active participation and presence.
    3. We shall advocate to reduce barriers to and expand upon existing resources by improving communication between AS and university departments/ programs.
