Event Services

AS Event Services provides facilities and support services that enrich the educational, social, and cultural programming of San Francisco State University and surrounding communities. Our staff is dedicated to providing the highest possible level of service to ensure the success of the diverse communities we serve.

The Cesar Chavez Student Center is home to various conference and event spaces and can accommodate a wide range of activities, including but not limited to banquets, lectures, organization meetings, graduations, and social events.

requesting space

To request use of a conference or event space in the Cesar Chavez Student Center, please complete the appropriate form applicable to your organization. San Francisco State University organizations will be required to sign in to GatorXperience using their campus ID before completing a request.

Please allow for up to three (3) business days for Event Services Scheduling Assistants to process new requests. We ask that any additional information requested be provided promptly in order to expedite processing times.

Organizations reserving space in the Cesar Chavez Student Center and/or requesting Event Services support must agree to adhere to the policies and procedures outlined in the Event Services Policy Manual.
