ABOUT US

The Women’s Center is dedicated to providing an open, encouraging and nurturing environment for the students of San Francisco State University. The primary goal of our organization is to provide a safe place for students of any and all backgrounds. The Women’s Center is open to everyone who would like to come together and participate in promoting the understanding of various perspectives and issues pertaining to gender justice and issues rooted in misogyny.

  • Administer free basic menstrual needs and survivor support
  • Destigmatize Misogyny affected community issues, the reproductive system, and the menstrual cycle.
  • Connect the campus community and university.
  • Free menstrual products such as cotton pads, tampons, panty liners, and diva cups
  • Free birth control or monitoring including Plan B and Pregnancy Tests
  • A mini fridge for breast feeding and pumping mothers
  • A lending library of feminist literature covering multiple intersecting issues.

Find your home here! Our goal is to provide a safe space for students of any and all backgrounds. Filled with a cozy couch, a private lactation space, a library of feminist literature, and incredible energy, our office is here for you.

We provide free menstrual, family planning products, and resources as well as a semester-based internship and volunteer opportunities. Scroll below to get involved!

Our office provides students with free and organic pads, tampons, pregnancy tests, and Plan-B emergency contraceptive.

We are dedicated to help students find various needs not available in our office, such as emergency shelter, health services, food insecurity, legal aid, counseling, etc.
