Hey! My name is VerĂ³nica Turner, and I am your AS (Associated Students) College of Ethnic Studies (COES) representative! I am a Race and Resistance Studies major, a commuter student, and a Blaxican Bay Area native. My job is to transparently advocate for your needs as students to the rest of AS and to admin. AS runs several programs meant to help students, and often meets with the admin team to discuss student issues. Our college is built on a legacy of not backing down to those in power. I will be representing you all with that same conviction. Ethnic Studies is my life, and I’m very excited to be working with you all this year!
